QuickFit® Technology
Thanks to QuickFit, knife sections or guards can be changed three times faster than before. With just one tool.

QuickFit® Mower finger
The new V-design of the mower finger increases the cutting area by 10 % and increases the bending stiffness by 50 %.

QuickFit® Knife blade
The new design of the knife blade ensures an innovative form fit between the blade and locking plate.

Optimized components
The blade drive, blade head and blade head bearing have been optimized in terms of load capacity and service life.
When time, replacement and adjustment work become a problem
Even the best combine harvester cutterbar reaches its limits when time pressure, difficult harvesting conditions and high maintenance requirements come together.
Long downtime due to complex blade change
Until now, changing knife blades on the cutting system was a time-consuming and costly process.
A real disadvantage, especially in tight harvesting windows.
High wear in demanding conditions
Stones or foreign objects often lead to breakages or defects on blades and mower fingers.
Recurring adjustment work
Many systems have to be adjusted regularly. This costs time, personnel and nerves.

Our new cutting system for combine harvesters solves your challenges.
Quick change saves valuable harvesting time
Thanks to the QuickFit system, knife blades and mower fingers can be replaced in a fraction of the time previously required. Only a ratchet wrench is required to loosen the nuts. There is no need to hold underneath the cutter bar. In addition, the nuts are only loosened, so there are no loose parts that could fall off and get lost.
Robust components for the toughest applications
Through-hardened blades, the V-geometry and the new design of the mowing finger ensure maximum stability, even in the event of collisions with stones or other foreign objects.
Maintenance-free
In contrast to other systems for combine harvesters, Schumacher cutting systems do not require regular readjustment. This saves time and reduces maintenance to a minimum.
Compatible and easy to repair
Our EasyCut 3 QuickFit® uses commercially available fasteners for a quick, uncomplicated repair without special screws or long downtimes.

QuickFit system for blade and mower finger
Compared to conventional systems, the QuickFit system enables the blade and mower finger to be changed three times as quickly. With just one tool, the nuts are only loosened but not completely removed. There are no loose parts, there is no need to counterhold underneath the cutter bar and unnecessary loss of time is a thing of the past. The mower finger is removed by simply pulling it out, the knife blade is released from the system by simply tilting it down.

The new QuickFit mowing finger: V-design and new shape
Thanks to the U-shaped opening on the rear edge of the new QuickFit mower finger, it is simply pulled out of the cutting system
during disassembly after the nuts have been loosened. The nuts do not have to be loosened completely, and it is not necessary to hold them with the
wrench underneath the blade bar. When inserting the mowing finger, a spacer ensures that the mounting gap is kept open.
Thanks to the new V-design of the mowing finger, not only has the cutting surface been increased by 10 percent
, but the bending stiffness has also been increased by 50 percent. The mowing finger is wider from
the fingertip to the base of the finger. This ensures a low-stress transition,
which considerably reduces the risk of breakage and significantly increases the service life. Furthermore, the new V-geometry means that foreign objects are deflected forwards more effectively.
New design with overlapping reinforcement
The redesigned parallel overlapping contours in the upper part of the mowing finger increase the section modulus. They ensure greater stability in the event of a collision and a higher load capacity, e.g. when using ear lifters.

The new QuickFit knife blade Innovative positive locking of blade and locking plate
A connecting plate, the Locking Plate, is attached to both sides of the positive-locking recess in the rear edges of the new QuickFit knife blade. This replaces the classic blade joint. This perfect form fit enables the direct transfer of tensile forces from knife blade to knife blade. The result: a significantly higher overall material cross-section of the knife back and blade for transferring the tensile forces.

The new ProDrive drive technology Optionally with sensors
Compared to the previous series, the new ProDrive Premium, Premium Smart (with sensor technology), Compact and Select drives are characterized by significantly improved durability. They have been specifically developed for higher loads and a longer service life (up to 50%). The optionally available sensor technology for the ProDrive Premium Smart provides the crucial data for driving speed and throughput control. This increases the area coverage by 10-15% and optimizes threshing quality.

The new weight-reduced cutterhead
The new cutter head achieves up to 300% more tensile strength thanks to the circumferential welded seam design. The top tensioner has been completely eliminated, which means a 30% reduction in weight and therefore a reduction in oscillating mass. Special fingers are no longer required, so that closed standard fingers can now also be fitted in the front area of the cutter head. Depending on the cutting system, it is therefore possible to fit additional ear lifters.

The new AxioFit cutterhead bearing with compensation function
The knife head bearing with compensation function dynamically compensates for misalignments between the cutting system and knife drive on the combine harvester cutting unit. The angles and rotational movements are taken over by different bearings, each of which is best suited to the task. The new knife head bearing minimizes both friction and wear and prevents knife breakage due to tension. In addition, the EasyConnect connection reduces the number of fastening screws from two to one. The AxioFit cutterhead bearing with compensation function is compatible with clamping ring and clamping head bearings and the matching cutterheads.

CHANGING BLADES with EasyCut 3
Frequently asked QUESTIONS about the EasyCut 3 QuickFit® cutting system
for combine harvester cutterbars
How does EasyCut 3 differ from EasyCut II?
EasyCut 3 uses the new QuickFit system for significantly faster blade and mower finger changes. The new V-geometry significantly increases the stability of the mowing finger. The innovative positive locking of the knife blade and locking plate has a positive effect on the power flow.
Do I need special tools to change the blade?
No. All you need is a standard ratchet wrench to loosen the nuts of the cutting system. It is not necessary to hold it underneath the cutter bar. No special screws are required either. The system only requires standard fasteners.
Is EasyCut 3 compatible with existing combine harvesters?
Yes. The system has a modular design and can be adapted to common combine harvester headers. The new AxioFit knife head bearing with compensation function is also compatible with clamping ring and clamping head bearings and the respective matching knife heads.
How long does it take to change the blade compared to conventional systems?
The change can be carried out three times faster than with the previous model.
Is the cutting system for combine harvester cutterbars maintenance-free?
Yes. In contrast to many conventional cutting systems, SCH cutting systems do not require the blade guide to be readjusted.
Where can I get spare parts?
SCH spare parts are available directly from specialist agricultural machinery dealers and can be supplied reliably and internationally.
