Quick replacement saves valuable harvesting time
Thanks to the QuickFit system, knife sections and guards can be replaced in a fraction of the time previously required. Only one tool is required to loosen the nuts. No counterholding beneath the cutterbar is required. In addition, the nuts are only loosened, so there are no loose parts that could fall off and get lost.

QuickFit system
for knife section and guard
Compared to other systems, the QuickFit system enables a knife section and guard replacement that is three times faster. Using just a single tool each, the nuts are simply loosened, not fully removed. There are no loose parts, counterholding beneath the cutterbar is not required, and unnecessary downtime is a thing of the past. The guard can be removed simply by pulling it out, and the knife section is released from the system by tilting it out.
The new QuickFit® guard with V-geometry for maximum stability
Thanks to the U-shaped opening at the rear of the new QuickFit guard, it can be easily pulled out of the cutting system during disassembly after the nuts are loosened. The nuts do not need to be fully removed, and counterholding beneath the cutterbar is not required.
Thanks to the new V-geometry of the guard, the cutting surface area has been increased by 10%, while bending stiffness has been improved by 50%. The guard gradually widens from tip to base, providing a low-stress transition that significantly reduces the risk of breakage and extends service life. Additionally, the new V-geometry helps to better guide foreign objects forward.

New design with overlapping reinforcement
The redesigned parallel overlapping contours in the upper part of the guard increase the section modulus. They ensure greater stability in the event of a collision and a higher load capacity, e.g. when using crop lifters.
The new QuickFit knife section
Innovative form-fit connection of section and locking plate
At the rear-notch of the new QuickFit knife section, a connecting plate—the Locking Plate—is attached on both sides. This replaces the traditional section joint. The perfect form fit allows a direct transfer of tensile forces from section to section.
The new ProDrive technology
Optionally with sensors
Compared to the previous series, the new ProDrive Premium, Premium Smart (with sensor technology), Compact and Select drives are characterized by significantly improved durability. They have been specifically developed for higher loads and a longer service life (up to 50%). The optionally available sensor technology for the ProDrive Premium Smart provides the crucial data for driving speed and throughput control. This increases the field capacity by 10-15% and optimizes threshing quality.
The new weight-reduced knife head
The new knife head achieves up to 300% higher tensile strength thanks to the round-weld seam construction. The upper tension strap is completely eliminated, resulting in a 30% weight reduction and consequently a reduction in oscillating mass. Special guards are no longer required, allowing standard closed guards to be installed in the front section of the knife head. Depending on the cutting system, this also allows for the installation of additional crop lifters.
The new AxioFit head bearing
The head bearing with compensation function dynamically compensates for misalignments between the cutting system and the knife drive. The angular and rotational movements are managed by different bearing elements, each optimized for its specific task. The new AxioFit minimizes both friction and wear, and prevents section breakage caused by stress. Additionally, the EasyConnect reduces the number of fastening bolts from two to one. The AxioFit head bearing is compatible with tension ring and tension cup head bearings, as well as the corresponding knife heads.

What’s the difference betweeen EasyCut 3 and EasyCut II?
EasyCut 3 uses the new QuickFit system for significantly faster knife section and guard replacements. The new V-geometry increases the stability of the guard. The innovative form-fit connection of the knife section and locking plate has a positive effect on the force flow.
Do I need special tools to change the knife section?
No. All you need is a standard ratchet wrench to loosen the nuts of the cutting system. Counterholding beneath the cutterbar ist not necessary. No special screws are required either. The system only requires standard fasteners.
Is EasyCut 3 compatible with existing combine harvesters?
Yes. The system has a modular design and can be adapted to common combine harvester headers. The new AxioFit knife head bearing with compensation function is also compatible with clamping ring and clamping head bearings and the respective matching knife heads.
How long does it take to change the knife section compared to conventional systems?
The replacement can be done 3x faster than with the previous model.
Is the cutting system maintenance-free?
Yes. In contrast to many conventional cutting systems, SCH cutting systems do not require the knife guide to be readjusted.
