Rasspe®
single knotters

The specialist in knotter technology
The rasspe® portfolio comprises a wide range of different types of single knotters for balers of all output levels. The knotters differ in the types of knots they produce – loop, string and hybrid knots – and in the tying system they are based on – Deering or Cormick.

Innovation
The Active Tailless Single Knotter Technology eliminates the tails that are normally cut off the finished knot. This is a major contribution to reducing plastic waste in agriculture.
Based on the RS 6003 single knotter, the innovation operates to the Deering principle which actively pulls off the knot and cuts off the tail. This innovative system is going to be transferred to other rasspe® single knotters as well.

Single knotter
RS 8000

This Cormick single knotter is typically used on balers that produce small packs of grain straw, hay and silage. The speciality of this model is that it ties the twine end to a loop. No tails are cut off. The RS 8000 is low maintenance, lubricant free and ensures maximum utilization of twine strength. Suitable for small balers with 2 or 3 knotters.

RS 6002

This compact single knotter operates to the Deering principle and spaces the twines at narrow 120 mm. This means a 460 mm square baler can be specified with 3 knotters, for example. The RS  6002 is also excellent for tying bales from chopped material for use as bedding, for example.
